*ADDITIONAL REHEARSALS MAY BE REQUIRED* Chorus students may be required to attend additional rehearsals in order to prepare choreography and staging.

TECH-DRESS REHEARSALS & SHOWS

Chorus is required to attend all tech rehearsals for their first performance weekend. Subsequent performance weekends will require 2 “pick-up” rehearsals on Wed and Thu only.

PERFORMANCES

Chorus members must be available to perform for at least two cast weekends, from Jan 17 to Feb 9. While members can provide conflicts and be excused from specific performance dates, they need to commit to entire weekends (Friday through Sunday). Picking and choosing individual performances days off won’t be available.

Please plan to have your choir member wear their undergarments for dress rehearsal on Thursdays.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR DRESS REHEARSALS & SHOWS

BRING: Oversized "adult" shirt to wear over costume when eating.  Bring an oversized shirt, onesie, or robe. 

Please read out loud at home to your child:

1. Wear your undergarments underneath your street clothes to rehearsal.

2. Remove your street clothes when you get to rehearsal/show

3. After your costume is on, you will wait backstage until called to the stage for a sound check

4. After rehearsal/show you will LEAVE YOUR COSTUME AND CHARACTER SHOES in the dressing room at OYES.

PLEASE  ARRIVE WITH YOUR UNDERGARMENTS ALREADY ON.

Undergarments:

• Dance shorts / boys

• Camisole/Tank

• Shoes: Wear street shoes. Bring Jazz Shoes. 

• Borrow Jazz shoes from OYES - Please check in the Yoshi or Daena to borrow shoes.
